planted in perryville

the city of perryville was looking for a branded campaign in order to showcase all the city has to offer to a broader audience, specifically focusing on young, entrepreneurial-minded people looking to plant their families in a new hometown with small town perks while also being able to work remotely for companies located in larger cities. this campaign was meant to simultaneously rollout the announcement of perryville obtaining high speed 5G internet despite being in a more rural environment.

the process

to create the visual design system for this campaign, I took inspiration from the small town americana feel of this mural painted in perryville and paired that with colors chosen from the current branding of perryville city. the goal was to build a design system that spoke to a multitude of user personas ranging in age and location and be able to use those components in different ways on different platforms to speak to those specific audiences.
